SAILOR MOON 2013 WISHLIST:

THIS WHOLE SCENE.  Everything about it is perfection, from Haruka leaning into Usagi, almost about to kiss her, and that is SO HOT OMG, YOU CAN JUST FEEL THE TENSION BETWEEN THEM, LOOK AT HARUKA’S HAND ON USAGI’S BACK TO GENTLY PULL HER IN.

But then Mamoru shows up and he’s burning with jealousy at seeing someone else moving in on Usagi and that is actually a really good thing.  Because the point isn’t that Mamoru is possessive or territorial.  The WHOLE ENTIRE POINT of their feelings of jealousy (and Usagi is jealous of his interaction with Michiru as well) is that it’s something they face together and DEAL WITH IT.  They go through this challenging part of their relationship and make it through on the other side, stronger for it.  They apologize for their behavior and correct themselves.  They COMMUNICATE WITH EACH OTHER ABOUT IT.

I want this entire storyline in Sailor Moon 2013 so badly because it gave Mamoru/Usagi real depth, to have an incredibly understandable, human, normal problem to work through, one that made them sympathetic and made it about them, not about this epic destiny they have.  In the manga, their love was always about Mamoru and Usagi, not about Endymion and Serenity.

Plus, Haruka macking on Usagi and then FLEEING LIKE THE WIND when her boyfriend shows up is never not hilarious and amazing and hot.
